Foundation for Children's Rights
is non-profit making non-governmental organisation was established in the year of 2001 and it was registered with the
government of Malawi under the Trust Incorporation Act (certificate #: 2536). It is also registered with NGO Board as well as CONGOMA.

Addressing SGBV through Social Analysis Action
The project "Addressing Sex and Gender-Based Violence through Social Analysis and Action in Nkhata Bay and Mzimba Districts" is a UNDP funded project aimed at deep-diving into harmful social norms that exacerbate SGBV and provides tools to key stakeholders at grassroots dealing with SGBV on innovative strategies on how to deconstruct such norms and myths in a way communities at grassroots can understand root causes and be compelled to take action to change

”She dropped out of school due to lack of basic necessities such as school fees, clothes, beddings, note books, and opted for marriage. she stayed in marriage for two weeks and faced similar challenges because her husband was also unable to provide for the same including food. The mother group approached her and she decided to leave marriage and go back home. They continued to counsel herr and her parents on the importance of girls education and eventually she enrolled. Linda reported she is happy, however, she is still lack school necessities and her friends tend to mock her. She expressed that mother group has greatly helped her by providing school uniform and emotional support to stay in school amidst the challenges.”

”She is from Group village Headman Mchekachweka T/A Mwilang'ombe got pregnant whilst she was in Standard 7 at the age of 13. Her parents abondoned her and her sister took herr in. FCR through Mother Group encouraged her to go back to school after giving birth. After 6 months of breast feeding Atupele re-enrolled for standard 7 at Nyungwe primary Secondary school. She is now in form four at Nyungwe Girls boarding school”
